Oh dear...here I go again posting once per month. Time flies...
January has seriously flown by. We've been busy with school, and really not much else! We had our annual New Year's Eve party after enjoying Christmas with the family.
Nathan started two new classes at Los Medanos College today (Statistics and Spanish) so we'll see how those go. :)
January is a month of transitions. Every year it seems to go by so quickly, yet it is a time of reflection on the year that just passed. The busy-ness of Christmas is over, and the cold days of winter lie ahead. Personally, I enjoy rainy days in January. Makes me want to stay home and be cozy. God gives us all sorts of weather and we really don't remember to thank Him for all of it. It's easy to complain and whine about what we don't like (like I do in the heat of summer) but in God's perfect creation it all has its purpose.
As we look ahead to February...my little Nathan boy will be 18 years old on the 11th. My first born son...18?!?! How can that be. I'm not old enough to have a child who is 18, and getting ready to graduate...am I? I suppose I am. :)
Enjoy our December and January pictures...and I suppose I will post again next month.
a post with pictures *gasp*

you're NOT old enough to have an 18 year old. And I can't be old enough to have baby sat a guy who's now 18 :)
I love what you said about weather! I only have 3 facebook friends that DON'T complain about weather, but actually sound like you welcome it. You, Kathryn T. and a friend I grew up with. That's only 3 out of 250!
Anyway, I love January for the same reasons you posted. Its definitely a good month to reflect, set goals, "start over" in many areas and the whole year is open with possibilities!
Does Nathan like LMC? Emily was pleasantly surprised when she went there, but she said she still preferred LPC.
Thanks for keeping the blog up-to-date for me! :)
you could always post your URL to your FB status when you update your blog... then people know to check it :)
I have a few friends that do that and its really helpful.
Hi Jill :D I finally remembered your blog address and figured I would pop in to see how you are...and say HI!
We are back online at www.joyfulquiver.blogspot.com for sharing our more spectacular...and also mundane!...happenings in life!
