Memorial Day Weekend

We spent last weekend in southern CA at Jill's parents' house. We celebrated our four May birthdays - Lizzy's 8th, Dan's 11th, Kenny's 44th and Grandpa Bill's 67th. We hung out, relaxing...went to the movies and the kids went swimming. Had a great time!

The birthday people...plus Dan's new friend Hector!

We went to the cemetery on Memorial Day, to put flowers on a few graves.

More birthday stuff...

Yesterday was Kenny's birthday, and tomorrow is Dan's. Since Kenny is gone on a business trip this week, we combined the two on Sunday afternoon! Happy Birthday! Love you both!

Every year we try to take a picture of Dan and Kenny together, since their birthdays are only two days apart. I remember celebrating Kenny's birthday when I was pregnant with Dan, and hoping he'd be born that day! :)

Party for Dan

Today Dan had his 11th birthday party...his birthday isn't until Wednesday, but we had his party early. He asked to go on a hike, so Kenny took Dan and his friends to Round Valley for a couple of hours. They had a great time, despite the hot weather. :)

After their hike, the boys came back to our house for presents, apple pie and fun! They had a great time playing dart gun wars!

Lizzy got to hang out with her friend Karinna today too! Fun for everyone!

Happy Birthday Lizzy!

Our baby girl is now 8 years old...time sure does fly. We had a nice birthday day for Lizzy with presents and cake. Lizzy decorated her own cake this year and she did a pretty good job! The cake was yummy!

Happy Birthday Lizzy!! We love you!

American Girl presents...fun!!

Cake decorator extraordinaire! Polly Pocket dolls and lots of pink frosting...yum!!

Spring Stuff

It's already May? And I know...I have sorely neglected our blog once again. People are probably sick of checking it to see why there's no update and have given up.

Here are some recent pictures:

Kenny and I went to Modesto to go to the Third Day concert...it was so much fun and a great concert!

Dan and his friend Katya took a science class together, and they had a little presentation night recently. They both did a great job in class...and had a great teacher too! Thank you Mrs. Trummel!

Some of Dan's work...great job!
