Here it is, the middle of April already! We had our annual Pastor's Conference at our church last week, which was great, as usual. It was fun to see our friend and pastor from Seattle, from the church we attended when we lived up there 11 years ago.
Last weekend we went up to Black Diamond Mines Regional Park. This is a local preserve, about 20 minutes from our house with thousands of acres of land. We walked a 6 mile loop, of various trails (followed a map). It was quite the workout, as we climbed to a peak of 1600 feet. We had a fun time, and it was so beautiful and still green. Pictures are below.
Nathan also got a job! He starts on Monday at Taco Del Mar, right down the street from us. He's excited, and so are we as now he can contribute to his auto insurance! :)

Taking a rest! :)
Tim or Nathan took this picture when we first arrived at the park. They climbed up part of a trail that is VERY steep. They took my picture...I'm the tiny black dot by the fence on the right side of the picture.
